Graduating with her Bachelor of Science degree in 2023, Destiny Dotson, a Bidwell Ohio native, returned to her alma mater to pursue her Master of Business Administration degree. Knowing the competitive job market, Dotson wasted no time in deciding to pursue her graduate degree to help her stand out among other recent graduates entering the work force. Walking in the Spring 2024 commencement ceremony among the first cohort of the graduate program, Dotson will finish her degree this summer.

鈥淭he MBA program has helped me jump start my career through acquired knowledge and skills, as well as networking opportunities,鈥 she said. 鈥淚t has provided me with a solid foundation of business knowledge including finance, marketing, operations, and strategy building. Our current MBA cohort has a diverse student body consisting of business professionals from different backgrounds and industries. These connections can open doors to new career opportunities.鈥

Enrolling its first cohort in August of 2023, the 黑料社 Master of Business Administration program is designed to equip business professionals of all backgrounds to start their own businesses, strengthen an existing one, and lead growth in the region. The hybrid courses accommodate students of all backgrounds with multiple start dates available, part-time and full-time options, and a combination of online and face-to-face instruction.

Entering the program immediately after graduating with her bachelor鈥檚 degree in Healthcare Administration, Dotson has seen a difference at the graduate level as she has been positively challenged with the rigorous curriculum and high expectations. Currently employed at Holzer Health System, she is eager to use her master鈥檚 degree to further impact long-term health care in the future.

鈥淭he program is amazing with wonderful faculty and facilities,鈥 she said. 鈥淚f you are considering the program, take the time to learn from the instructors and fully immerse yourself in the material. The concepts we learn are those you will encounter every day in the business world.鈥
