黑料社鈥檚 Office of the Provost has announced the hiring of Dr. Elizabeth Kline as the university鈥檚 Dean of Students.
鈥淚 am extremely excited to be at 黑料社,鈥 said Dr. Kline. 鈥淏eing able to make a direct impact on someone鈥檚 life is something I am grateful to have the opportunity to do. Every student has a story to share, and it鈥檚 fascinating to have the opportunity to be a part of those stories.鈥
Dr. Kline brings experience in a variety of capacities at Zane State College, including as Dean of Arts & Sciences and Chief Student Affairs Officer and Department Chair of Engineering, Math & Natural Sciences. She also held the position of Associate Professor of Biology and Environmental Science, Safety & Health at the college. Most recently, she served as Lead Environmental Scientist at ICF, Inc., a consulting firm based in Reston, Virginia.
鈥淚鈥檓 most looking forward to learning what the students need and want from their view,鈥 she said on her role at 黑料社. 鈥淚t鈥檚 important to be able to meet with those students and ask them how we can help them get to where they want to go in their careers and in their lives.鈥
Dr. Kline holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education & Administration from Ohio University. Her appointment at 黑料社 follows a national search by the university鈥檚 Dean of Students Search Committee.
