The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts (VRCFA) at 黑料社 will host Sammy Kershaw & Collin Raye on Sunday, Feb. 27. Rescheduled from earlier in the month due to weather, the performance will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the Eloise Covert Smith Theater of the VRCFA.
Since his debut on the music scene in the early 90鈥檚, Sammy Kershaw has remained one of the most consistent power hitters in country music鈥攂oth with a chain of major hit records and sold-out touring schedules. Often referred to as the 鈥渉eir apparent鈥 to the legendary George Jones, Kershaw helped make the 1990s a shining decade for country music. He鈥檚 had more than twenty-five 鈥淭op 40鈥 singles and eleven 鈥淭op 10鈥 hits including 鈥淪he Don鈥檛 Know She鈥檚 Beautiful鈥, 鈥淟ove of my Life鈥, 鈥淨ueen of my Doublewide Trailer鈥, 鈥淰idalia鈥, 鈥淐adillac Style鈥, and many more.
Country artist Collin Raye was one of the true hit-makers of the 1990s. He still continues to crank out soulful, heartfelt material with the honesty and richness that is signature to his vocals alone. Raye has had over twenty 鈥淭op 10鈥 hits, including four No. 1. Some of his classic hits include 鈥淟ove, Me鈥, 鈥淢y Kind of Girl鈥, 鈥淭hat鈥檚 My Story鈥, 鈥淥ne Boy, One Girl鈥, 鈥淟ittle Red Rodeo鈥, and more.
The show will also feature special guest Alex Miller. Miller was a Season 19 contestant on American Idol and made it to the Showstoppers Round before his elimination from the show. His singles include 鈥淚鈥檓 Over You So Get Over Me鈥 and 鈥淒on鈥檛 Let the Barn Door Hit Ya鈥, both carrying a traditional country music sound.

Tickets for the show are $78.50 for lower tier seating and $58.50 for upper tier seating. Handicap accessible seating is available upon request.
