ºÚÁÏÉç has announced the 23rd annual (SGC) will be held on campus, Nov. 1 & 2, 2024. The longest-running academic game conference in the Midwest, SGC continues its tradition of fostering innovation and creativity in the gaming industry.

Featuring sessions hosted by industry professionals, interactive exhibitions by gaming studios, and hands-on exhibits hosted by current ºÚÁÏÉç gaming students, SGC brings together gaming enthusiasts of all ages for a two-day look into the ever-evolving world of gaming.

This year’s SGC offers attendees admission tickets as one- or two-day passes, including general admission and ºÚÁÏÉç student admission. General Admission tickets are available for $50.00 for a two-day pass and $30.00 for a one-day pass. ºÚÁÏÉç students can purchase a two-day pass for $20.00 and a one-day pass for $10.00 with proof of their student ID. Conference passes allow participants to attend a wide range of workshops and sessions featuring industry experts and faculty, engage with showcased games and projects on the exhibition floor, and see ºÚÁÏÉç’s Esports student-athletes in action. SGC is also accepting applications for Session Speakers and Exhibitors for the Expo Floor. Applications for both should be received by Sept. 15 and can be completed on the conference website or by contacting Conference Coordinator Amanda Hedrick at ahedrick@shawnee.edu.
