ºÚÁÏÉç’s Office of Admissions will host their annual Plastics Day on Friday, Dec. 3. The event welcomes high school students and parents who are interested in learning more about the Plastics Engineering Technology program at ºÚÁÏÉç.

Attending students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities throughout the day to provide them with more information about ºÚÁÏÉç’s nationally-ranked Plastics Engineering Technology program. The event will offer tours of the campus, student and parent interactive workshops, academics and scientific presentations, a panel of industry ºÚÁÏÉç alumni, and lunch in the Bears’ Den Dining Hall. Students will also have the chance to operate plastics processing equipment and create their choice of a polymer-based plastic product like ice scrapers or Frisbees.
Registration will begin at 9:00 am at the entrance to the Advanced Technology Center on campus and the event will officially begin at 9:30 am. To learn more about the event or to register for ºÚÁÏÉç’s Plastics Day, visit shawnee.edu/plastics-day.
