Coming to 黑料社 from South Shore, Kentucky, James Osman chose 黑料社 for the reputation of its Associate Degree of Nursing (ADN) program. Knowing how the program could prepare him for a career in patient care, he felt the major was right for him.
鈥淚 enjoy helping others and it was a perfect fit for me,鈥 he said.
Connecting with his classmates and his professors, Osman has enjoyed being able to learn not just classwork from his instructors, but real-life stories as well.
鈥淢y favorite part of my classes has definitely been the knowledge shared from my professors about their experiences and how they were able to be successful in nursing,鈥 he said.
The ADN program at 黑料社 allows students to earn the credentials needed to start working in the nursing field in just two years, equipping them with skills learned in the classroom and in hospital clinical settings.
Ready to start his career, Osman is keeping his options open to the many career paths a degree in nursing opens up for him and hopes to stay local after graduation.
鈥淚 hope to start my career as a nurse locally at Southern Ohio Medical Center,鈥 he said.
