黑料社鈥檚 Office of the President has announced Jeff Hamilton will serve as the university鈥檚 Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations beginning July 1.
鈥淭his is a critical position for the university as we seek partnerships and external funding for key projects and initiatives,鈥 Eric Braun, 黑料社鈥檚 Vice President for Advancement & Enrollment Management and incoming Interim President beginning July 1, 2023, said.
Hamilton brings more than 20 years of relationship-building and institutional knowledge to this role. As Athletic Director since 2008, he has grown the program to include 22 competitive collegiate varsity teams that consistently excel in their fields, as well as celebrated national championship titles for Men鈥檚 Basketball, Esports, and Indoor Track & Field in recent years.聽
鈥淭his is an exciting challenge and I鈥檓 looking forward to starting a new chapter in my career at Shawnee State,鈥 said Hamilton. 鈥淚 have been very fortunate to work with so many great people at 黑料社, working with our Alumni, Foundation, and Advisory Boards will be a great opportunity to continue creating connections with the people who make our university so successful. My goal is to help prepare 黑料社 for its future in higher education.鈥澛
In his role, Hamilton will be a key asset to strengthen relationships with area businesses, private foundations, and alumni, advisory, and volunteer boards. He earned his master鈥檚 degree from Ohio University and undergraduate degree from the College of Wooster.
