A junior in the Radiologic Technology program, Jessica Mullenix has found a personalized experience in her studies at 黑料社. A native of Hillsboro, Ohio, she is also pursuing a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Health Science.

鈥満诹仙 has a great radiology program, job placements, and passing rates,鈥 she said. 鈥淭he instructors are very personable, and my advisor is my instructor for many courses. It helps a lot overall.鈥
Preparing students for careers as radiographers who work under the supervision of medical radiologists or physicians, the 黑料社 Radiologic Technology combines classroom instruction and clinical experience over six semesters. Students participate in hands-on clinical experience in one or more of the nine medical centers located throughout the Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky area.
鈥淲e have clinicals at the hospital, and this gives us great on-the-job training,鈥 Mullenix said. 鈥淭here is an x-ray lab in the Allied Health Science building, and we get to practice various different x-ray techniques.鈥
After receiving their associate degree in Radiologic Technology, graduates are eligible to take the national certifying examination provided by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Graduates find careers in clinics, radiology departments, doctors鈥 offices, or commercial x-ray labs.
