Dr. Brenda Haas was recently sworn in as the newest Trustee on the ºÚÁÏÉç Board of Trustees. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine appointed Dr. Haas to the board in April 2021.

Dr. Gay Lynn Shipley has been appointed Interim Assistant Dean and Director of the School of Education in the College of Professional Studies (CPS) at ºÚÁÏÉç, Dean Paul M. Madden, Ph.D., announced. 

Graduating from ºÚÁÏÉç in 2017 with a Fine Arts degree in Photography and minor Art History, alumna Courtney Uldrich always knew she wanted to eventually work in a museum.

ºÚÁÏÉç’s Kricker Innovation Hub (KIH) hosted their inaugural Ignite Portsmouth: Entrepreneurial Journey Boot Camp and Pitch Competition at the end of last month. Eighteen teams of potential entrepreneurs took part in the six-week boot camp to receive support towards implementing their business ideas.

ºÚÁÏÉç is pleased to announce that Dr. Lavanya Vemsani has received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award in History for the 2020-2021 academic year from the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. This is the first award of its kind for a professor at ºÚÁÏÉç.

The ºÚÁÏÉç Development Foundation (ºÚÁÏÉçDF) has welcomed Dr. David Todt to a three-year term on its governing board.

A graduate of ºÚÁÏÉç, life has come full circle in many ways for alumnus Andy Graffis.

ºÚÁÏÉç was recently ranked among Military Times’ Best for Vets: Colleges 2021.

Taking an Introduction to Psychology class that was taught by his father at his local community college, Dr. Darrell Rudmann had the ability to explore how he could establish a career in Psychology.

ºÚÁÏÉç announced plans for a new School of Business during the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees on Jun. 25.
