ºÚÁÏÉç’s Associate Director of Career Services, Austin Raines, recently received the Teacher of the Year Award through the Ohio Department of Education as part of Adult Education Week.

The Center for Public History at ºÚÁÏÉç recently received $20,000 in grant funds from Ohio Humanities to support the development of Scioto Historical 4.0 – a free mobile app and website project documenting the history of Portsmouth and the surrounding Appalachian region.

The ºÚÁÏÉç Development Foundation has received a $50,000 grant award from the AEP Ohio Committee to support the continued expansion of the Kricker Innovation Hub’s (KIH) programming and infrastructure project.

The ºÚÁÏÉç Development Foundation (ºÚÁÏÉçDF) has awarded $17,700 through the ºÚÁÏÉçDF Grants Program to numerous on-campus programs for the 2022 autumn semester.

ºÚÁÏÉç’s Kricker Innovation Hub (KIH) hosted their second annual Ignite Portsmouth Entrepreneurship Boot Camp and Pitch Competition at the end of last month. Seven aspiring entrepreneurs took part in the eight-week boot camp to receive support towards launching their business ideas.

ºÚÁÏÉç junior Hanna Tackett recently received an ºÚÁÏÉç Works Grant award through the ºÚÁÏÉç Development Foundation (ºÚÁÏÉçDF).
